This is suitable for any cold room, goods in area or cutting room where the internal ceiling height is above 2350mm to ensure the hook height from the floor is above 1840mm. 


These Meat Hanging Rail systems are an ideal solution for meat hanging, storage and transportation for catering and retail butchery, game larders rooms, laboratories, meat ageing rooms and meat processing plants. 


Designed specifically to limit the lifting and carrying of heavy products and to keep product flowing quickly and easily.


Every IRRERA Meat Rail System is custom made to optimise hanging and storage. These made to measure structures can be offered as either a self-supporting system, ceiling/wall aerial installation or both systems combined.


The system meets the highest of hygiene standards. Easy to clean and sanitise in accordance with HACCP, the removable plastic hooks and shelves are commercial dishwasher safe. All the components used in these structures are suitable for temperatures as low as -30°C and can therefore be used inside freezer rooms and laboratories.  


Quick and easy to design, assemble and install and existing IRRERA modular Meat Rail Systems can be added to and extended over time.


To support working processes and spaces, we are also able to offer electronic weighing scales, hoists, loading arms and electronic lifting conveyers.

  • The position and dimensions of the Evaporator (s)
  • The position, dimensions and style of the door (s)
  • Type and quantity of meat to be processed/stored
  • Any constraints within the cold room
  • Any specific processes and procedures that need to take place.
  • Images or a hand sketch of the cold room would be very helpful
  • Please note that due to the weight bearing beam construction and hooks dimensions, the IRRERA Meat Rail System is not suitable for cold rooms with a ceiling height of below 2350mm (bottom of hook from floor 1840mm)

For smaller cold rooms we would recommend the Meat Hanging Frame System with adjustable stainless steel or nylon hooks in order maximise storage space and provide the best value for money hanging and racked chilled storage solution.
